World Kite Museum

Featured exhibits include The Sport Kite: A Quiet Riot, Kites: An Asian Heritage, The Long Beach Room and Hall of Fame. Special events are scheduled throughout the year. Museum hours are June to August (seven days a week) 11am to 5pm, September to October (Friday through Monday) 11am to 5pm, And November to May (Saturday and Sunday) 11am to 5pm.

Ecola State Park

Enjoy hiking and picnicking with family or friends at Ecola State Park. You can also just enjoy the wonderful nature around you.

Washington & Oregon Lighthouses

If you like lighthouses there are 4 not to far away from us. Two are in Washington about 45 minutes from the campground. Cape Disappointment, and North Head. Two more are just south of us about 1 hour away. Tillamook Rock and Cape Meares.

Tillamook Cheese Factory

Take a beautiful drive down Highway 101 to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. You can take a self guided tour around there facility. Try the Cheese Curds they are great, Or get some famous Tillamook Ice Cream. www.tillamookcheese.com

Tillamook Naval Air Museum

Drive down Highway 101 a few miles after the Tillamook Cheese Factory and see the Tillamook Naval Air Museum housed in a World War 2 blimp hangar. The Museum has over twenty vintage aircraft's on display. All there aircraft's are well maintained, also in flying condition!
