March 13-14: Pot O' Gold Weekend

Think you're lucky? Search the campground for clues to locate Moneybags O'Callaghan's pot of gold. The lucky camper will receive one free night for future camping, a lucky leprechaun's pot of gold, and 2 tickets to our corned beef and cabbage dinner ($5.00/person). Leprechaun relays and crafts for the kids; movies both nights.

April 10-12: Easter Egg-stravaganza

Join the Easter Bunny as we celebrate the season with relays, games, crafts, a petting zoo, and movies Friday and Saturday evenings. Activities will be attended by Sir Rabbit, himself! Easter egg hunts for all ages - even adults. A special flashlight egg hunt will begin after the movie Saturday night!

May 8-9: Come Camp & Care With Us!

Visit www.koacarecamps.com to better understand this weekend of activity and fund raising. The pictures and video says it all. We will have a 50/50 raffle (tickets $5.00 each), we host a chile & cornbread dinner, flashlight candy hunt and more. Participation in these activities will have a small fee as part of our campground's fundraising effort.

June 12-14: School's Out Carnival!

Join us for a fun school carnival after school! Darts, ring toss, fish pond - and of course, the "theme" movie will be "Grease"!

June 19-21: BBQ Cook-off!

Do you have what it takes to be KOA Camp Chef? Bring your best BBQ recipe, grill, and assistants for some summer fun! Winning chef receives a gift certificate for a free weekend and prizes for the team. ENTRY FEE: $20.00

June 26-28: Amazing Race

Enter your team in our version of the popular television show. Don't finish last - your team will be eliminated! Winners receive a basket of local goodies and gift certificates. ENTRY FEE: $20.00/TEAM

July 3-5: Old Fashioned 4th of July

Picnic, relays, games, crafts. Campers will receive a schedule of fireworks displays in area.

July 10-12: Hogwart's Weekend

Attend potions class; identify magical creatures, have your fortune told by Mme. Raquel, create your own marauder's map-mischief managed! Imagine playing Wizard's Chess on our lawn chess set. Watch the movie marathon Saturday night to refresh yourself about Hogwart's happenings before the July 17th release of "Harry Potter and the Blood Prince".

July 17-20: Buccaneer Bash

Swashbuckling fun in the sun! Pirate themed activities (Have a care - you may end up walking the plank!), crafts and movies.

July 24-26: Christmas in July

Kampers will have the opportunity to buy/sell crafts and other goodies. Decorate your campsite - winner gets a gift certificate for a free night on a future stay. Kids will make Christmas ornaments, play "reindeer games" and enjoy holiday music and movies.

July 31-August 2: Annual Kid's Weekend

WOW! Enjoy a pirate themed weekend for the kids with Clowns Unlimited. Inflatable slides, Rope-A-Phobia, airbrush tattoos and more!

August 7-9: Regatta Weekend

Start your Regatta celebration early at KOA. Events and activities are scheduled all week long so you won't want to miss out on all the fun!

August 14-16: Arabian Nights

Welcome to our oasis! Kids will craft their own "genie bottle" and make an Arabic lantern from recycled vases. Entertainment will feature international belly dance artist Astryd Farah accompanied by a light dinner with hummus, pita bread, fruit (fresh and dried) and more.

August 21-23: Perfect Pets Weekend

Join us for purr-fectly fine activities for cats, dogs, and birds. All pets receive a welcome packet and a schedule of events for their people. Pet parade, costume contest, and the kids will make a toy for their special pet.

August 28-30: Fishing

Enter your catch of the day in our campground's fishing derby. The winner receives a gift certificate for a free night's stay and a basket of great fishing items.

September 4-7: Labor Day Weekend Tailgate Party

Dog Agility Match for weekly winners of the fun matches. Competition will be judged; winner receives trophy. All returning competitors and owners will have received a 10% camping discount coupon in their weekly prize package.

September 18-20: Harvest Festival

Local crafters, gardeners, and campers are invited to display their wares for a mini Farmer's Market Weekend.

October 23-25 & October 30-November 1

Halloween Fun! Join us for Halloween activities, crafts and a spooktacular haunted house. Admission to the haunted house is $2.00/person or 2 cans of food: All proceeds go to our local food bank.

December 4-6: Christmas Fair

Local crafters/businesses and kampers are invited to display and sell hand-crafted items and goods at Iredale's Kitchen.
